• Researching current food trends and buying relevant products to create seasonal themes in-store.• Coordinating and displaying this research in moodboards and presenting the new food items for each season to the board of directors. • Placing purchase orders. • Creating strategies for food promotions in cooperation with the marketing team, also overseeing and managing the commercial calendar and customer needs. • Establishing the variety and assortment of food products that would be sold in-store each month. Promoting these in our monthly App and the members BijMagazine.• Evaluating sales and calculating profits from our App, magazine, promotions and events. • Overseeing and managing projects to improve both food and restaurant sales. For example, changing the signing and merchandising for the restaurants and bakery which in turn created a new look and feel for each.• Executing the external company analysis (customers’ needs, competitors) and the internal analysis (marketing performance, financial performance) for the yearly category plan.

• Managing the Product Development Calendar in cooperation with the Product Developers and ensuring we were in the lead for all deadlines, input moments and output with the suppliers and the shops. • Creating and analysing the weekly reports (revenue, budget, margin, mark-down, index comparing to the previous years). • Coordinating commercial projects and events like the Maffe Marathon and the Drie Dwaze Dagen, which are very reputable sales events in the Netherlands. • Creating brand books for the private labels and brands sold in-store. • Preparing the meetings for the Product Development & Sourcing Manager.

• Optimizing visibility of the hotel's three websites based on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This analysis and optimization of the hotel chain on the internet helped reach out to the national and international target groups • Assisting the International Sales Manager with public relations and administrative tasks • Coordinating and overseeing advertising placement of the hotel chain in the media; deciding where, how and when to put an ad in magazines and newspapers. • Revenue management.

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the daily tasks of the hotel’s coffee lunch cafe. Tasks included; managing the staff, creating schedules, making the profit and loss statements. • Taking orders, making recommendations and answering questions regarding food and beverages. • Dealing with customer complaints • Developing innovative ideas to promote the cafe. For example, we created an exclusive wine club and birthday cake delivery service for locals. • Teaching and training staff in the western hospitality service. • Other responsibilities extended to kitchen employee and cocktail shaker.
