Silver Er is currently a Year 2 student majoring in Philosophy in National University of Singapore (NUS), with a Double Degree Programme with Waseda University. She is also in Singapore's first honours college, NUS College. Silver is a NUS College Ambassador since 2022.Silver started writing novels from young, and her most popular works has received more than 10,000 online readers in 4 months. She typically dabbles in the romance genre, but is recently writing a thriller mystery novel. She has been in creative writing clubs, and served as Executive Committee in them. She was the Welfare Secretary during her time in Temasek Polytechnic's Young Writers Club, and is now serving as the Vice Director of NUS College's NUSCreatives.In addition, Silver is proficient in videography, and has worked as a freelance video producer. During her time in Temasek Junior College (TJC), she was the Chief of Videography and Audio-Visual Production in the Infocomm Club. Now, videography will be one of her main job scope requirements from her summer internship at Volta PC, amongst other roles such as assembling computer hardware, administrative and marketing.
