CurrentAppellate/Amicus Practice: Author amicus curiae (friend of the court) briefs filed with the U.S. Supreme Court and state high courts on behalf of national business and civil justice reform associations.Public Policy Advocacy: Research, analyze, and develop federal and state legislation on such topics as tort and product liability, consumer law, and jury service improvement. Prepare advocacy white papers and reports. Regularly testify before state legislatures on complex legal issues.Regulatory Compliance Assistance: Advise businesses on compliance with federal agency regulations, submit comments on proposed rules, and assist with product recalls.Litigation: Assist in litigation of product liability, medical malpractice, and other matters.Pro Bono: Coordinate pro bono work in the firm's DC office.
