YAMMER:-Determined new core metrics and functionally associated local metrics as Yammer Product pivoted to a new teams-based approach. This new groups metric was adopted by Yammer and the larger Microsoft analytics community (eg Outlook Groups, O365 Modern Groups)-Presented business insights and analytical findings to the Yammer executive group to influence direction of the Yammer product.-Designed, ran, and analyzed many AB tests (~100) on product features (Inbox, Search, Chat, Groups) with a special focus on mobile experiments.-Increased the purview of AB testing by promoting group-level and network-level testing.-Segmented customers and predicted future behavior via model building-Developed objectives and key results (OKRs) for feature-teams.-Communicated results and conclusions via dashboarding, ad-hoc reports, and monthly core mertic reports.-Monitored and maintained data quality of Yammer databases and scheduled ETL tasks.ONENOTE-Developed and help found the Microsoft OneNote Capture analytics team, efforts including: schema creation (ETLs), data quality, KPI and metric determination, user behavior analysis. -Setup and analyzed AB tests for Microsoft OneNote (10+).-Developed business insights for OneNote which affected the direction of their design.Office Online-Worked with the Microsoft WAC team as a lead analyst to improve the product with data. -Helped to implement and troubleshoot the first A/B tests run for all of Microsoft Office 365.

-Developed and optimized algorithms to calibrate the ATLAS detector resulting in a 10X decreased run time.-Designed software in C++ and BASH to discover signal events in large datasets (>1Pb) with very low signal-to-noise ratios. Increased signal selection efficiency in targeted regions by over 1000%.-Analyzed and visualized signal events to determine invariant features used for machine learning in C++.-Utilized machine learning techniques (neural net, decision tree) and statistical analysis which increased the statistical significance of the measurements. -Operated and monitored performance of sections of the ATLAS detector during data-taking (8 hour shifts)-Maintained operational integrity of the ATLAS distributed computing system as part of a 30 person team.-Facilitated the transition to a new method of data segmentation - adopted by the 1000+ person collaboration.-Collaboratively developed software using the SVN repository system.
