I started writing in 2014, at the tender age of 46. 'A Man Like You' was my first completed play, and premiered in Nairobi in March of 2016. In July I partnered with Red Soil Productions, for an off-Broadway three week run in New York. The play was nominated in 7 categories at the 2016 Sanaa Theatre Awards and won 2 - Best Actor and Best Tragedy. 2017 saw 'A Man Like You' touring Africa and the world, opening in Nairobi and proceeding to Harare, Cape Town, back to Nairobi, to Hong Kong and finishing in Kampala. In 2018 - 2019 I wrote a novel, 'Out Alive', for which I am seeking representation to the publishing industry. I have recently completed my 5th play, 'Speak Their Names' which I hope to debut in 2022.
