As a branch engineer , I help support all the Simpson Strong-Tie products for the South East region of the USA as well as Central and South America. Some of the products that I help support include but are not limited to our wood connectors, cold formed steel connectors, lateral systems, software tools, etc.. I help answer technical questions that specifiers, contractors, or architects may have as well as give presentations to structural engineer firms, industry organizations, building officials or internal customers that would like to learn more about our products and tools that can help them in future or current projects.Part of my duties also include being the eyes and ears of the field to find out what the industry needs and bring in new ideas or solutions that we can work on.

Provide technical support for the Infrastructure, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) Simpson Strong-Tie products including anchor systems and concrete repair, protection and strengthening products for part of Simpson Strong-Tie's Southeast Branch (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi) Primarily with post installed anchor products for structural design into concrete and masonry. Help customers develop anchoring solutions for unique applications. Conduct technical presentations for individuals, groups, and professional associations involved in new construction and/or the repair and rehabilitation of existing structures, focusing on both general technical knowledge as well as product knowledge. Work closely with the sales team.
