I've spent several years working on bioremediation of aquaculture effluents using marine and estuarine species, such as benthic invertebrates and halophyte plants. I believe aquaculture plays a fundamental role in human nutrition while presenting significant challenges for sustainable production. Currently, my focus is on the use of polychaetes as alternative ingredients in aquaculture nutrition. The ultimate goal of this research is to revalue the waste generated and transform it into a raw material with promising possibilities, aligning aquaculture with the circular economy model.Committed to marine conservation through roles in non-profit organizations.
