I am a practitioner in the charity sector, with over 5 years of experience managing innovation programmes. I have worked for a variety of non-profit organisations and social enterprises to deliver learning and support programmes to startups, schools and public sector organisations. I am a passionate learner of design for social innovation, participatory design and design for government. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Arts London in the area of design for policy, whose aim is to explore new models for citizen participation in policymaking, with a specific focus on youth.

A process evaluation was also funded as part of the programme to better understand how EdTech tools are used remotely. • Successfully managed a portfolio of 6 EdTech grantees and delivered a programme of support including setting up grant awards, designing and delivering non-financial support, monitoring and reporting progress and providing mentoring;• Managed the relationship with a portfolio of 60 schools and colleges participating in the programme;• Managed the relationship with two delivery partners, a programme evaluator, and the Department for Education.In addition: • I have led the design workstream of the Open School scoping project, including research, prototyping and testing. -
Program CoordinatorNesta Oct 2019 - Nov 2020London, United KingdomI was responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Global Innovation Policy Accelerator – an international capacity building programme on innovation policy for senior policymakers, completely based on the design for policy approach. • Managed the programme delivery for the EMEA cohort (5 teams of senior innovation policymakers coming from Egypt, South Africa, Turkey, Jordan and Kenya), including 3 weeks of in-person workshop delivery in London;• Managed the relationship with delivery partners (such as FutureGov, Oxentia, 100% Open and the University of Manchester);• Successfully managed the relationship with a network of almost 100 innovation policymakers coming from 17 countries;• Co-managed the relationship with the programme funder (Innovate Uk through the Newton Fund);• Co-designed the Future Leaders in Innovation Policy Programme commissioned by Innovate UK;• Produced a series of legacy documents for policymakers, including videos, a toolkit and a series of blogs and articles on best practices. -
Event ManagerAshoka Portugal Oct 2018 - Aug 2019Lisbon Area, PortugalAs an Event Manager in Ashoka Portugal, I have worked with a diverse set of partners to design innovative and impactful events and festivals about changemaking. • Managed logistics and contents of the new Ashoka Fellows and Changemaker Schools presentation event, with more than 200 participants. • Designed and implemented a new format of intimate and participative talks about changemaker skills in partnership with Changemaker Schools. • Co-organized two events about changemaking education for more than 450 people, in partnership with ISEG University, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, UNESCO for Sustainable Peace and with the participation of Changemaker Schools and Thakur Powdyel, the former Minister of education of Bhutan. • Successfully organized the Hello Portugal Festival, a full-day event about migration and integration for about 150 participants, with more than 20 national and international speakers, in collaboration with the High Commission for Migrations, the Aga Khan Foundation and other organizations. • Designed and facilitated several workshops and sessions during the Hello Portugal Festival. -

Event ManagerAssociazione Manes Feb 2018 - Jul 2019Rome Area, ItalyI was in charge with organizing and managing international events on outdoor education with several national and international speakers.
