Biomedical engineer in Rehab Technologies IIT-INAIL Lab, focused on developing active medical devices, like robotic prosthetic hand, robotic prosthetic leg, lower limbs exoskeleton and upper limb exoskeleton. I'm currently working on two robotic exoskeletons for neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation and my main duties are: 1) Responsible for Clinical Trials planning and conduction, according to ISO 14155 and Medical Device Regulation (UE) 2017/745;2) Assist the technical team in prototypes’ development: - dealing with clinical partners to identify clinical needs and converting them into technical software/hardware specifications; - helping in the application of relevant regulatory requirements and technical standards (like IEC 60601); - performing training sessions for clinical partners.3) Management and creation of product documentation, in compliance with internal quality procedures, Medical Device Regulation (UE) 2017/745, ISO 14971, IEC 62366 and other relevant standards;4) Internal Auditor, in compliance with ISO 13485.

Scientific research about the gait pattern in neurological diseases through computerized gait analysis.Development of a new model of markers placement to assess spine kinematics during sit to stand, identifying the typical kinematic pattern in patients with Pompe Disease. One paper published on Gait & Posture on that topic: "New model of marker placement to assess sagittal spine and lower limb during sit to stand: typical kinematic pattern in LOPD".

Its cutting-edge instrumentation allowed to perform kinematic, dynamic and EMG analysis of several types of movement: from the "simple" walking to running, jumping, biking, etc.Besides technical managing of gait analysis instrumentation and supporting clinicians in data interpretation, I managed also promotional activities: demonstrations, public speaking, congresses, etc.
