Position Summary: Provide broad range of high level direct service to clients, including training related to inter-country adoption, adoption facilitation, placement and post-placement services. Conduct marketing, public awareness and family recruitment activities and other tasks/activities as assigned to increase services to adoptive parents.Major responsibilities:• Provide family preparation and education:- Facilitate and assist with pre-and post-adoption training, including mandated country-specific training.- Review application documents (criminal background checks, references)- Review and assess dossier paperwork for compliance with the State, Federal and country-specific requirements.• Serve as liaison between international contacts, social workers and clients:- Communicate regularly and effectively with foreign government officials, US Citizenship and Immigration Services and Embassy officials- Provide cultural interpretation and discernment of sensitive information as well as critical assessment of legal process to all parties to ensure proper functioning of the adoption process.- Provide risk assessment continually across multiple processes. • Provide Oversight of Post-Placement Reporting Process:- Provide appropriate support and services - Review reports for compliance with country-specific requirements- Oversee submission of reports to sending country in timely manner• Manage and ensure confidentiality of case records. Adhere to strict data recording and confidentiality standards regarding client paper or electronic files • Prepare in-house reports, including monthly statistics and billing.• Manage client caseload to ensure quality standards are met.• Program development: - Assist in development and implementation of marketing/public awareness efforts to reach potential clients. - Conduct client information meetings, country specific webinars and other recruitment activities as directed.
