In 1996, Silvia Bucur founded PRAIS Corporate Communications consulting firm, creating local and international IPRA awarded national corporate, brand, social marketing projects and campaigns for multinational companies, major professional associations, outstanding crisis managment, trainings in communication. Clients along years: AmCham, Mondelēz, Nestlé, Amway, Philip Morris, Smithfield's Foods, Danone, Lafarge, Unilever, Ursus SABMiller, L'Oréal, Romanian Coffee Association, Urgo France, Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Syngenta, Euronet, Wienerberger, Unilever. Or brands such as: Milka, Jacobs, Oreo, Poiana, CocoRico, Nestle cereals. Silvia was appointed as General Secretary of Romanian Coffee Association - RCA, as well as of ARIPAD Association.In 2002, Silvia founded PRAIS Foundation. 15 community based projects were created by her as copywritter and innitiator, having as objectives the access to resources, education and culture of the young generation, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, care for nature and moral values, building a different kind of progress. Notable CSR/ social marketing movements are “I’m Living Healthy Too!” - SETS, "We are the moving generation!" as an active member of EIN - the largest global network fighting against obesity, and “Millions of People, Millions of Trees movement recognised by UNEP.Silvia coordinated the PHARE project for the promotion of investments in Romania and was on the editorial team of the booklet “Romania, Yes! An investment guide” and the coordinator of the “Improved Communication for the Promotion of Romania’s Economic Opportunities” project for the Romanian Development Agency.Other achievements: she has been a media relations Project Manager for the Slovenian Government. She has worked as a Senior Communication Training Consultant for the Scottish Institute of Development. Silvia has also worked on consultancy projects for Coopers & Lybrand in the Czech Republic, Belgium and Hungary.
