About Silvia Sanchez Bor

I am a driven marine conservation professional with over a decade of experience in international conservation, non-profit fundraising, program management, and communications. I co-developed WildAid’s Marine Program BLUEPRINT model, currently used in 95 sites spanning 16 countries globally, with measurable results in building local capacity to deter illegal fishing and wildlife trafficking to maximize conservation benefits in critical marine areas. I was also a key member of the inter-departmental team tasked with developing the organizational strategy for 2023-2025. As a bilingual (Spanish/ English) professional, I have been afforded some incredible opportunities and placed in both lead and support roles for projects spanning the globe. My project portfolio includes the development and iteration of tools currently used by WildAid’s Marine Program to measure programmatic impact and meet strategic objectives, as well as the management of a multimillion-dollar annual grants portfolio. I enjoy managing large projects, planning and executing programs, and exposing products and services to new markets. I look forward to creating something meaningful, and I welcome new challenges. My specialties include strategic planning, project management, grant writing, operations, business development, online marketing strategy, translation, writing, data analysis, planning, research, relationship management, business partnerships, and marketing.
