I help nonprofit organizations develop their infrastructure and create a sound foundation allowing them to better serve their constituents. Often, nonprofit groups grow out of the founder's passion but soon falter because they lack the policies and sustainable processes to flourish. That's where I come in. I work with organizations to communicate with all stakeholders - from employees to the public at large - and help them tell their story. I've been in the non-profit or association industry for the better part of my career and enjoy the interaction with members, board members, and constituents. I enjoy the fast-paced atmosphere and the opportunity to put all of my skills to work. I've often thought that what I do is similar to being an air traffic controller with multiple projects up in the air at the same time, juggling all aspects and details in order to bring them down safely and on time! Just as air traffic controllers have to be cognizant of all the other planes in the air, and maintain a steady stream of communications with all involved, an executive in non-profit organizations or associations has to do the same.
