I am the founder CEO of Happy Starts With You, LLC. I am a 35+ year veteran of the Restaurant Industry. As an industrial engineer, I have created solutions that make working in a restaurant easier. My last corporate job was to start the department at Starbucks in 2000 when the coffee company had just over 2000 locations.Since 2010, I have been consulting and bringing my expertise to over 40 brands. In 2020, during the COVID restaurant consulting pause, I dusted off my passion project to teach happiness and created my online course Happy Starts With You.👇🏼 Fun Facts About Silvia 👇🏼💗 I started my career in the tire manufacturing industry working for Uniroyal Tire Company in Opelika, Alabama.💗 I seemed to like round things and when I moved back to Miami, FL I started working at Burger King Corporation and fell in love with the restaurant industry.💗 My 23 year corporate restaurant career would move us to Greer, South Carolina to work for Denny’s and to Seattle, Washington to work for Starbucks Coffee, where I started the Operations Engineering Team.💗 I became a consulting director for Profitality in 2010, enabling growth for restaurant chains, and had a goal to pivot in 2020.💗 In 2019, I became a Certified Happiness Trainer based on Marci Shimoff’s New York Times best-selling book Happy for No Reason: 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out and fell in love with this work.💗 In 2020 I moved back home to Miami, FL and I founded Happy Starts With You – because I believe everyone can learn to live a happier life!
