Crafting Coviu's journey from its roots in CSIRO to a global telehealth solution has been a thrilling ride, filled with insights I'm eager to share with fellow businesses. I've witnessed firsthand the transformative potential of technology in addressing systemic challenges in healthcare, and I'm passionate about spreading that message while collaborating with like-minded ventures to maximise their success.What sets me apart is a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, most importantly perseverance, passion and empathy. My tech and research background provided the foundation for Coviu's evolution into a healthcare innovator, driven by a deep-seated belief in the power of technology to drive positive change. Having worked at large government research organisations, standard bodies, multi-national tech companies including Google, as well as building two startups has given me a well-rounded understanding of company maturation.With Coviu, I took a unique idea, developed and perfected it, found a market, designed the organisation and its operations, and built a viable business that continues to grow. I’ve learned that change takes time, but when an idea’s time arrives, there’s no stopping it, as long as the leadership is capable, engaged and focused on continuous improvement and evolution.I’ve taken Coviu through the peaks and troughs of spin off, start-up and scale-up, international expansion, and prepared it for future growth. Handing over the CEO reins at Coviu marked the closing of one chapter and the opening of another exciting phase.Now I've joined CARED for a new adventure, this time combining care delivery with technology.
