As a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a background in a prominent global corporation within the Medical Device sector, I bring my wealth of international expertise to drive the expansion of our family business in the field of Injection Molding. Specializing in Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM) and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), my primary focus lies in the precision manufacturing of thermoplastic injection moulds. I am passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes and fostering innovation in the ever-evolving field of injection molding. In my previous role as Mako Product Specialist at Stryker, I supported orthopaedic surgeons in the operating theatre during knee and hip robotic-assisted joint replacement procedures. My job also included the accurate segmentation of CT images and the pre-operative implant planning. I looked after some of the highest volume Mako customers, as well as one of the busiest hospital accounts in Victoria. I was also responsible for upskilling newly hired Mako Product Specialists and training HCP staff on our robotic-assisted joint replacement technology.I obtained a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering from The University of Melbourne. My research was focused on the development of a novel algorithm to automatically segment large datasets of micro-CT images and quantify the local adaptation of bone to mechanical loading. I have also developed an innovative computational model of bone remodelling in health and disease. My post-graduate studies further refined my problem-solving skills, providing me with the ability to quickly identify novel answers to complex research questions. I often managed multiple projects while maintaining high quality output, perfecting my adaptability to changing priorities and my ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment.I bring to the table a unique mix of technical and soft skills, including computer aided manufacturing, robotics, account management, customer service, 3D computer aided design (CAD), computer programming, research and development, scientific writing and project management.
Listed skills include Matlab, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Cad, and 34 others.
