Relocated to a country I had never been to to recruit students for a summer job with Southwestern Advantage in the USA. The job itself would be going door-to-door selling educational products for the US families. Georgian student needed to fund their own trip and stay in the US and would only get payed by commission on their sales. My job was to generate leads, talk to university representatives in Tbilisi, conduct a full recruitment cycle, train them for the job and help with documentation.

It is essential that other team members learn by following their leaders example- motivating, analysing results from statistics, catching problems early, figuring out improvement plans with my team members on daily and weekly bases- solving problems quickly, for example, lack of territory to sell in, students running out of money, emotional students with personal problems, PR problems created by students on the spot, housing issues, transportation issues, delivery issues and many more that I had limited time and resources to solve- keeping in contact with Nashville office during this time to improve my teams and my performance- following up with all team members to get their feedback after the work period, encouraging them to keep moving forward with Southwestern Advantage and pushing them to improve themselves as well as achieving higher positions within the company.
