Restoration And Conservation

I pursued a curriculum strictly oriented to the restoration and the conservation of architectural heritage.As part of the restoration, preservation and consolidation of monuments and historic buildings, I have the skills necessary in the professional fields of Architectural Design and Construction, Construction Supervision and Coordination Safety during the Design and Execution, in compliance with the rules and regulations issued by the main agencies (superintendents for the Environmental and Architectural and Artistic, etc.).In developing Projects I perform the following steps:· Historical research and data collection on buildings, subject to intervention, preparatory processing of actual projects.· Reports of art history, which also include the analysis of any previous restoration.· Reliefs graphics, photographic and photogrammetric, for the graphic rendering of the building.· Non-invasive Surveys of the constituting materials and any related, finishing treatments.· Sampling for analysis in specific laboratories, necessary to define the morphological composition and degenerative pathology.· Development of specification graphic thematic tables, issues concerning the state of affairs, the materials, their condition and the type of degradation.· Development of specification graphic thematic tables, depicting the restoration methods to be adopted in relation to the conservation of materials and type of degradation to restore.· Explanatory reports of all phases of research, analysis, operations and synthesis.

manage the various phases of the building site process, utilizing appropriate standard procedures, facilitating communications between my staff and the client according to a standardized language.As part of the planning and programming of the safety on site activity,in compliance with the Health and Safety regulations, I deal with: the safety coordination at the design phase, elaborating specific SAFETY PLANS, comprehensive of:- regulation requirements;- detailed timelines with timing schedule of all construction activities;- accurate works description with identification of the correlated risks including the evaluation of possible interference between the works;-indication of the obligations of the contractor prior and during the execution of the works;- list of the personal safety equipment;- site organization and specific measures of coordination between the various operators with the designation of their mutual duties;- assessment of security costs related to the provisions included in the "Safety Plan".As building and safety coordinator I take care of the security building aspects throughout the execution of the works, verifying diligently that the provisions contained in the Safety Plan are respected and by organizing regular meetings with the various operators on site.Also, when needed, I update the specifications contained in the security plan in the event of changes during construction.
