I am currently working part-time as a grocery picker and packer at Pandamart stores, covering various outlets including Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Woodland-Admiralty, Mandai, and Telok Ayer. I took on this job to earn my school allowance and gain work experience simultaneously. The manager and Full-time staff recognize my potential and are keen to teach me new skills. With their guidance, I am now able to assist the full-timers with receiving and restocking inventory.As a grocery picker and packer at Pandamart, the key skills include quickly finding and selecting items based on orders and packing them securely to avoid damage during riders delivery. It is also important to know the store layout well as it help to increase your picking efficiency. Good communication with colleague helps to resolve any problems quickly and keeps everything running smoothly. Therefore, having these skills will ensures customer orders are accurate and handled efficiently by us. Working part-time at Pandamart has provided me with valuable insights into work expectations, including the importance of punctuality, commitment, efficiency, patience, friendliness, resilience, and a serious attitude towards my responsibilities.

For events hosted by Peopable SG, my role was an usher, my main tasks include helping people with directions, providing event information, and managing the crowd. I will have to greet them warmly, answer their questions, and ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable by maintaining a professional and friendly attitude while controlling the flow of people. Additionally, as an usher, I may also need to take over some of my colleagues' duties to allow them to have their breaks.Working as an usher has provided me with valuable experience in interacting with the public, helping me to overcome any apprehension about engaging with strangers. This skill is essential whether working part-time or full-time, as it prepares me to confidently handle various interpersonal situations.
