Supply Chain Manager
Current• Direct and coordinate global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators.• Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.• Work with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up logistics movements. recommend efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.• Assess needs for material-handling equipment and staffing, Support proper utilization of ERP.• Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set the best route and rate (review and approve all freight terms, read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.)• Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery from suppliers. Monitor performance of suppliers by assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Identifying and qualifying new suppliers • Monitor and correct inventory levels at all locations, ensure visibility, rotation, promotion of slow-moving items. • Analyze Sales, work on forecasts and inventories, keep an accurate record of the process and analyze performance, plan demand and process replenishment/re-order of products / materials.• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, and evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain .• Take part in designing/product development, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions, ensure brand image and reliability.• Ensure Safety, compliances, documentation as per Govt. rules and regulations. Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain to meet sustainability targets
