I love to build. For the past years, I’ve been working in Fintech following the passion to create transformative, technological, and ambitious projects.At BiG, an investment digital-first bank, I developed strategic products with the goal of increasing the sources of revenue of the firm. It leveraged a close interaction with fintech startups and the venture capital fund, BiG Start Ventures, investing in early-stage B2B fintech solutions.To foster the growth of fintech startups, co-founded the nonprofit association Portugal Fintech.Today, it counts with a yearly report of the industry; several curated events; the first innovation hub of the country with all the financial regulators – Portugal FinLab; the Fintech House – a 5-floor building in the center of Lisbon gathering the entire ecosystem in one place, from startups of all sizes to partners such as Visa, Accenture, BBVA, Google...; and finally created Fintech Solutions - a strategic consulting firm fully focused on fintech, counting for example with the creation of Microsoft's first fintech accelerator, Fintech365.In 2020, integrated the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Finance.Today I'm a founding partner at Lightshift Capital, a digital asset firm investing in and building the future of financial services. Blockchain and decentralized technologies are replacing legacy systems and creating unprecedented ways to store, own, transact and invest. More than investors, we are builders and engineers supporting the next generation of founders.Some of my personal goals include helping a hundred million people, writing three bestsellers, and traveling to fifty countries.
