ChitChat is a venture backed startup building communication and collaboration tools for live events, passion projects, and teams.I am responsible for managing all technical infrastructure, developing a roadmap that structures engineering and product efforts with respect to key business objectives, and building our core product offerings.My core contributions include:1. Establishing end-to-end infrastructure, covering backend, databases, user interfaces, services, storage, and cloud functions.2. Creating efficient developer operation automations and pipelines.3. Conducting user interviews to inform product roadmaps.4. Executing a successful launch strategy, attracting 5,000 users during our initial release.

Redesigning technical engineering interviews.I was engineer #1 at ByteBoard Inc. and built the Hiring Consortium, a critical component to Byteboard’s growth trajectory. In addition to new products, I played a key role in developing engineering operations, best practices, and culture as the first member of a brand new, rapidly growing engineering team. I worked directly with the CTO/CPO and Head of Engineering in my day to day work.

Working with Jakara is a passion of mine as I get to interact with the community that raised me and many like it through creative leadership development, community organizing, and social activism. My work here includes event and conference planning, workshop coordination, creating content, and brand and event marketing.
