Founded the organization with a motive to improve personal hygiene amongst under-privileged female population. • Conducted surveys across several local slums to gain understanding about the current menstruation habits and to examine the prevalence of UTIs in women of different age groups. • Crafted a careful social media presence to sensitize people about the challenges faced by women relying on reusable absorbents during menstruation. Drives are organized periodically to raise money for bulk purchase of sanitary pads which are then distributed to the 'adopted' areas, on a monthly basis. • The local charter provides sanitary pads to around 1500 women across 4 slums each month. We are currently in the process of getting students from different colleges across India to join us, and sharing the knowledge and resources that we have garnered so far to help them start their own charters.

Motivated by the unavailability of a formal counselling when I was trying to apply for colleges back in my high school, and the experience that I gained during the process, I led the initiative to establish an Economics club in my school by working with my former teachers.• The initial focus was to initiate a mentorship circle to provide a better perspective into the college application process. By getting other recent alumni on-board, the students were also provided access to the often overlooked/unavailable first-hand insights about different colleges and majors.• Later, we also organized special sessions by collaborating with academic counsellors to help grade 10 students make informed decisions for the selection of their grade 11-12 concentrations.• Worked with the school principal and management to establish an Economics news-letter.
