My role was to assist our clients in scoping new research ideas, and understanding and specifying particular problems and opportunities (e.g. expected benefits, deliverables, size of research, etc.). I was mainly responsible for producing “knowledge searches” – brief reports on specific, client-requested topics. Their purpose is to provide high-level organised and filtered information about the issues and opportunities, thus saving the client’s effort and costs of running their own searches. Some of my other activities included involvement in technology watch and horizon scanning work, project presentations, team’s representation in conferences and internal events, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Job included working as a part of a team in a busy restaurant kitchen assisting in the day to day running of catering area.
