Lead Freedom To Speak Up Guardian
CurrentWorks in collaboration with the senior leadership team to promote an open and transparent speak up culture across the organisation, which promotes patient and staff safety. Raise awareness about the importance of speaking up and support staff at all levels, clinical and non clinical, to raise concerns when anything gets in the way of providing good care to patients. Identifying barriers to speak up and develop approaches alleviate them. Has direct access to the CEO and Trust’s chair. Provides data driven reports to the Trust board and the National Guardians Office quarterly, giving an overview that informs the Speak up culture of the organisation. Stakeholders engagement- Works effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders (Quality Standards, Organisational Development,Safeguarding, Staff Engagement, NHSE, National Guardians Office) to influence a culture change which supports staff retention and wellbeing, and promotes a positive patient and staff experience.
