June 2003 to October 2012Corporate Solutions (part of the Randstad Group formerly Hill McGlynn & Associates)I joined the newly formed Northern Division of Corporate Solutions from its initial inception in 2003. The Northern division was established to replicate the highly successful Southern division. Corporate Solution’s service offering includes; Executive Search, Retained Assignments, High Level Contingency and Technically Complex / Difficult To Source positions. I was immediately tasked with developing the brand within both new and existing markets, including Civil Engineering, Rail, Utilities, Highways, Power and Building / Construction. I worked tirelessly to increase and retain the brand profile with a wide range of clients from household name Blue Chip Plc’s through to smaller and more specialist technical contractors. Through my hard work and dedication I quickly progressed through to the role of Senior Recruitment Consultant. At this time I saw a potential gap in Ellis Fairbank’s market offering and presented a business case to the board of Directors to develop a new division exclusively concentrating on all aspects the Construction, Civil Engineering and Rail market sectors. My plan was approved and over the following 6 years I developed, grew and managed this new division to ultimately result in offices in both Leeds and London consisting of 4 Branch Managers and in excess of 20 consultants. This was all built by myself from a zero base including all aspects of marketing, client / business development and strategic account management.
