They would be taken through the whole brand creation and design process over a 3 month period.Weekly mentorship and workshops from myself and other industry professionals at Nottinghams creative studio the Carousel has been instrumental in helping the Hustle team carve out their brand. The program is in its final stages and exceeding exceptions. From making mood boards, developing logos and the ethos for the 'Patch' brand (like a patchwork quilt different people of different backgrounds and skills coming together in one) they are in the final stages of finishing their first collection.Screenprinting, bucket hat and cut and sew sessions have resulted in an exciting line that will rival more established brands. At times there has been disagreements due to strong creative visions but the team are individually brilliant personalities and managed to talk it out and come up with compromises for the greater good! This was instrumental in bringing onboard new sponsors Coca-Cola and G4S Security / Marketing the marathon in-country / Setting up training runs / Planning and managing race day. On behalf of Social Enterprise Make to Make I designed and ran an 8 week P/T street-wear programme. 12 adults from inner city Nottingham were taken through the complete process from brainstorming markets, mood-boards, logo design, competitor research and final designs. Finally, using my industry contacts the particpants worked with professional screen printers to produce screenprint their garments.
