I have spent my entire teaching career working with, planning for and teaching learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities. I am passionate about SEND and enjoy seeing my learners progress to further study, independent living and often employment. I’m also very excited to be a learning coach, this means that I am privileged to be able to observe a range of teachers, offering support and teaching experience to peers and those new to the profession. Teaching is a difficult and stressful profession, we need to support each other and not be afraid to learn from one another, be the critical friend, for the benefit of our learners.
