I took part in the rewrite of an ERP for wholesalers with a lightweight framework. This project involved up to five developers. The main goals were to add new functionalities and to prepare for future evolutions.My work involved: - understanding legacy code and documenting the existing processes known partially by the users. - developing new functionalities to meet the business needs (web2py, bbm, html5). - setting up a test bench to achieve continuous integration (lettuce, selenium, jenkins). - reporting to the product owner the advantages and disadvantages of his choices. - working with other companies to interface the new ERP with their IT system.The back end is written in web2py (a lightweight python framework) with various libraries. The front end makes a heavy use of Backbone Marionette.

I developed a new software module to inform the employees about the resident's schedules. This module has an impact on the whole company (450 employees). It is used in several business processes. It involved:- file system scripting to manage the old schedules in Excel documents (Python v3).- extracting the schedules of more than 400 residents (C# with Microsoft Office automation).- developing new interfaces to show the schedules and to modify them (XHTML, JS, PHP).- training users for the new module.IT support to 450 users and management of 150 computers located on several sites.- User assistance (Windows 7 & Office 2010).- Windows server 2008 administration (users & computers management, GPO).- Network traffic monitoring (SNMP).- Network maintenance & administration (wireless access point, switch, firewall, ...).- SQL scripting to create an internal phone book automatically.

Design and development of a new algorithm to store (mega-)bus, trolley-bus and tram in hangars. This algorithm heavily relies upon dynamic programming, tabu search and partial optimization heuristics. It has to deal with dozens of constraints and several objectives.The software was developed in C++ with the Standard Template Library (STL).
