Simeon Martey Kwawununu is the Executive Director at Developers Academy; an ESO that supports business owners, business leaders, and business builders to become investor-ready. With over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Development, Innovation, Skills Development, Education, Women's & PWDs Economic Empowerment, and Human Rights.Hitherto, Simeon was the Social Program Coordinator at Tamale Utrecht Football Academy (TUFA). His leadership has been instrumental in scaling social impact, digital, and life skills among players and teams which has led to producing many great players including Abdul Fatawu, a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Leicester City and the Ghana national team. During 2019/Date Simeon have consulted for both government agencies and International NGOs such as NEIP, GIZ, GEA, Ghana Tech Lab, MDF Africa, Right to Play Ghana and Social Enterprise Ghana (SE Ghana) in the entrepreneurship, agribusiness, education, and innovation space supporting over 3000 women and young people in agribusiness with digital, vocational and technical skills trainings across Volta, Oti, North East and Northern regions of Ghana. Again, Simeon through the Jacobs Foundation Readiness to Scale project in partnership with Reach For Change has launched the Child Dream Foundation Schools under its EdTech hub called CDF (www.cdfhub.org), an educational center and EdTech hub working to improve quality education through STEAM Education and innovations in Ghana. In his role as the Oti Regional Lead at SE Ghana, he has developed a robust social entrepreneurship ecosystem. Catalyzing funding, policy advocacy, and innovations, with an emphasis on research and data. Simeon commitment to business innovation, rule of law, growth consulting, and customer service excellence has been a cornerstone in these endeavors, driving impactful community engagement and fostering a supportive network for social entrepreneurs across the Volta, Oti, and Northern regions of Ghana.
