Managed the engineering and construction of the plant in cooperation with Asahi Kasei Corporation and ASTOM in 2007. The plant has been put into operation, yielding technical/battery grade Li2CO3 with high quality. The industrialization had been fulfilled by 2009 and a total scale of 20,000 tpa Li2CO3 has been achieved recently. The project was conferred 1st Prize of S&T Development Award of Qinghai Province in 2011 and Award of Technological Promotion of Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016. In 2017, the invention was granted China Patent Excellence Award.
