*All views expressed on this page are my own, and do not reflect those of my employer.*I'm excited by challenges, motivated by curiosity, and driven by passion. It was my curiosity about the world that first inspired me to study international business, and after I started I was immediately hooked on the challenge of the added complexity of not just considering the typical business conditions and operating environments, but those additional elements that come from crossing boarders and cultures. I chose to pursue my BIB, MIB and MGM because I wanted to explore the world from a global point of view, while taking in perspectives from major trading areas in the world. Having studied, lived and worked in Canada, Spain and Australia, I have collaborated with people from around the world and worked on diverse business problems across EMEA, APAC and North America. Throughout my studies, I have honed my critical thinking, analysis, communication, and strategic ideation skills through my courses, capstone project and participation in various international case competitions. While pursing my post-secondary and graduate degrees, I gained over 5 years of work experience in customer service, sales and public speaking & education, and accumulated over 3 years of public sector experience in areas including Human Resources, Marketing & Communications and Global Strategy & Operations. Applying my diverse skillsets and interests, I have 4 years of experience working in consulting, including having worked engagements in areas of strategy, risk management, internal audit, program evaluation and non-profit.I’m always open to the next adventure, particularly an opportunity to ideate and implement impactful global strategies with consideration of the complexities of foreign markets, cultures and perspectives. I believe that diversity breeds innovation, and true creativity and empathy comes from experiencing the world and tackling new challenges from different points of view. I’m passionate about taking on these challenges and finding solutions that bridge the gap between various unknowns.
