I have been in the mental health and substance use field for over 6 years. I began my first job in a residential and detox substance use treatment during graduate school and moved up to the Bay Area upon graduation. I have been able to expand my experiences to working with children on the Autism spectrum, residential and outpatient programs with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness, and finding my way into leadership. I have worked in management for two years with Momentum for Health. I am recently licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and recently openeda small private practice. I want to focus on providing mental health services to marginalized populations including the BIPOC community, LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, and low-income individuals. I’m passionate about giving back to the community and making mental health services more accessible to all populations.
