My responsibility at BANKSETA is to manage implementation of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Bursary programmes throughout the broader banking and micro finance sector. We roll out bursaries to deserving students at Universities and fund WIL programs at UoT's as well as TVET colleges across the country. Further implement WIL programmes with registered BANKSETA employers, working with partners such as SAICA, SAADP,AAT-SA, NSFAS & Deloitte etc. Enable collaborations with high performing institutions such as UCT and UJ to create centers of excellence at previously disadvantaged Higher learning institutions such as UniZulu, Fort Hare & UniVenda . Concerted efforts are invested to transform the Banking and micro finance industries.
