I have a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Durban University of Technology, where I gained a solid foundation in web development, database management, and software engineering. I am currently a DevOps Engineer at Standard Bank Group, one of the largest and most respected financial institutions in Africa. I am passionate about delivering reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.As a DevOps Engineer, I work with a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and operations staff to automate, monitor, and optimize the infrastructure and application performance for banking systems. I use various tools, such as Cloud Services, Angular, Grafana, and New Relic, to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot servers, dashboards, policies, and alerts. I also contribute to the continuous improvement of the DevOps processes and practices, ensuring that they follow the best standards and practices. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues, learning from their diverse perspectives and experiences, and supporting them in achieving our shared goals. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to apply them to solve real-world problems.
