Learning skills working in an AWS environment. Creating several Lambda’s with Python; ones that when triggered from a Glue Job, pulled in hundreds of files from S3, merged them into asingle file and put them into S3, and one that pulled data from Google Sheets, formatted it and put it into S3.Creating a Release Management UI that pulled data from the release Codepipeline and DynamoDB showing the success of the pipe, and allowed communication to approve stages in the build. Implemented analytics into the UI to track the success and failure of builds.Management and rebuild of the UI in the Business Intelligence Team. A conversion from AngularJS/VanillaJS/CoffeeScript to Vue.js and from D3.js to Chart.js. Created customplugins for Chart.js using canvas to create feature rich charts. Created a micro-service withExpress and Node that consumed data from a RESTful API, makes calculations as needed,converts variable and returned the newly formatted data with an asynchronous RESTful API.Helped with migration and strategic moves from previous architecture to new architecture hosted in a serverless AWS environment. During the AWS migration; changed the micro-serviceto separate Node AWS Lambda Functions for each endpoint. Performed QA work as neededwith Protractor, Puppeteer, Mocha and Chai.

Led and trained a fresh intern from zero to intermediate proficiency with Angular 4 to pass along custom time tracking software. A 3 month internship focused on building an internal software solution for the company. I took part in a team to help plan the project and solely build the front end web app in Angular 2/4 using a RESTful API to the database using an API. Was able to help build a component and teach my knowledge of React for a clients project and successfully integrated a Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics tracking into a web application for another client.

Full Stack Web Development focused on updating the current code to a more modern and fluid design with a team of 3 other developers. Front end HAML work on company Tour pages. Back end Ruby work on making an available subscription to a mailing list with Mailchimp using the Gibbon API Gem.

An 11 week Full Stack Ruby on Rails Web Developer course that teaches best practices for recent and relevant programming practices. We used Ruby on Rails for the back-end and React for the front-end. Every day we were given a lecture in the morning about our next lesson and then in the afternoon we had open lab time to work on homework, ask the teachers and TA’s questions, and even work on personal projects. I participated in many group and personal projects that used all of the knowledge I learned through the course and through my own teachings. My final project that I worked on with my team was Devume.
