I also manage negotiations, market analysis, and financial modeling to support Google’s sustainability objectives and deliver impactful, clean energy outcomes.

As a leader of Guidehouse’s global sustainability practice, I focused on helping organizations achieve measurable carbon reductions and advance their sustainability goals. I partnered with prominent clients—including the GSA, the Department of Veterans Affairs, AstraZeneca, Under Armour, the Department of State, Tapestry, and Conagra—to implement innovative decarbonization solutions. My focus areas encompassed 24/7 carbon-free electricity (CFE), distributed energy systems, carbon accounting, energy efficiency project selection, and renewable energy acquisition. Through strategic guidance, I enabled a diverse portfolio of clients to navigate complex energy markets, adopt cutting-edge technologies, and position themselves as global climate leaders.

Successfully managed many of Siemens most sophisticated commercial, industrial, and governmental clients through the implementation of national and global energy and sustainability solutions. Established executive-level relationships with multi-site / multi-national organizations to create value through the deployment of greener equipment, the management of energy price volatility, and the achievement of sustainability / infrastructure objectives. Provided thought leadership in the areas of energy management and carbon planning, while working to position Siemens for the next phase of digitization, the distribution of energy resources, and the emergence of new global energy trends.

Successfully oversaw the profitability and growth of the Siemens Sustainability and Energy Management group. Set the strategic agenda for 100+ energy and sustainability employees located in the US, the UK, Mexico, Germany, and Hong Kong. Developed productive CXO-level relationships and managed execution of client facing programs that reduced energy consumption, controlled energy costs, and achieved sustainability objectives. Acted as a subject matter expert in areas including energy commodity supply, energy risk management, energy efficiency, sustainability, green infrastructure, and carbon reporting.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, lead sales, business development, and lead generation activities associated with the firm’s energy supply management business. Successfully managed up to 7 sales executives and support personnel. Led the acquisition of numerous major new clients, including transactions with Corning Incorporated, Extended Stay America, and Mohawk Industries. Directly oversaw account management of large utility consulting projects with clients like the City of Dover, DE and Duke Energy.

Successfully managed a department of more than 20 employees to fulfill contracts with large commercial and governmental customers for electricity, natural gas and other solutions related to energy efficiency, demand response and overall energy cost reductions. Supervised engagements with governmental agencies including the General Services Administration and the Department of Defense. Effectively worked with customers such Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Rutgers University to implement innovative energy procurement strategies that allowed for transparent access to wholesale markets and proactive management of the customer’s energy budget.

Productively managed a team of 7 employees responsible for customer engagements in a territory spanning from NJ to IL. Acted as a technical expert in the areas of renewable energy, regulatory affairs and energy derivative products. Utilized an asset management methodology to assist customers in instituting energy purchasing strategies commensurate with each customer’s risk tolerance. Negotiated transactions based on NYMEX futures contracts, Locational Marginal Prices (“LMP”) and bilateral transactions.

Managed the expansion of the company’s large commercial product offerings into new territories. Responsible for the development of analyses designed to prioritize and assess the potential opportunity of new markets, including the creation of business cases to support new market entry recommendations. Monitored the performance of existing markets and suggested programs to meet sales goals. Forecasted various scenarios to identify and avoid business risks.

Supervised several telecommunications product lines. Managed a team of analysts responsible for product life cycle management, profit and loss evaluation and tracking of sales performance. Developed financial models and business cases designed to evaluate new initiatives.

Managed the profitability, development and full life cycle of a $30 Million line of electricity products and environmentally friendly initiatives for residential and small commercial customers. Designed and developed an original product business plan which included projections of long-range revenues and profits over several scenarios.

Conducted on-going analysis designed to assess the potential of new markets and customer segments. Developed industry specific business cases and launched several products intended to increase the company’s presence in niche sectors. Contributed to the company’s expansion through data mining and sales lead generation.
