My transition to higher education, after a 25 year career in marketing and advertising management, was born out of a passion to help equip the next generation of business leaders. I do this by working closely with students, educators and professional practitioners to identify and develop the 21st century skills needed for successful careers. Along with a teaching philosophy that emphasizes experiential and project-based learning, I coach and mentor people at various stages of their career. This includes helping people develop their personal marketing plan and brand. I'm always learning and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my students to help them successfully transition from college to career. Some of my interests include day hikes (especially around my home in the Columbia River Gorge), all things mid-century modern, the Portland Trailblazers, spending time with my amazing wife, Lisa, and loving on our pet dog, Kona, and two cats, Lewis and Clark.
