Worked as the hardware engineer of a team developing a real-time 3D measuring solution. My main responsibility was to be the main architect of the whole hardware side of the system, design the prototypes & MVP version of the product (mechanics, electronics and low level system programming), and communicating with subcontractors & guiding them. On top of my priority list was to keep the software engineers of my team free of hardware related worries and have prototypes up and running whenever they were needed.

My responsibilities covered photogrammetrical calibration processes, designing electronics and mechanical hardware, manufacturing prototypes and embedded programming.

At Trenox I played roles such as a thesis worker, an R&D engineer, and a project manager. My work included mechanical and electrical design, programming embedded systems, project management and building prototypes. In my thesis, I designed and implemented an automatic control system for a tower crane. I took responsibility of the whole R&D process of several products from ideas through prototypes to complete products.During my employment I learned to look at the product design process from a broad viewpoint including mechanical, electrical, software and economical perspectives. I practiced my electronic design and embedded system know-how from hobbyist to a professional level. I also found a leader within me as I successfully stepped up as a project manager in Crane Anti-Collision System project.

At Saalasti, I started as a website administrator and since spring 2015 I have been working in the engineering department as a younger designer, summers as a full time and study semesters as a part time employee. My work description has included component revisions, machine drawing and layout updates and product development projects. I also designed independently a storage system for press rolls weighing 10 000kg. My supervisor and colleagues have given me positive feedback about my conscientiousness and ability to co-operate with workmates. My engineering skills such as CAD designing, understanding manufacturing engineering and combining engineering theory and practice have improved tremendously during my employment at Saalasti.

I was an assembler mechanic at Konecranes gear factory. I was responsible of valuable machinery and their assembly process had to be adopted fast before beginning individual work. Work had to be done with extreme care because of the delicate nature of gear systems but still with fast phase as in any profitable organisation. During my time at Konecranes I gained significant amount of knowledge about usage of different machinery including bridge crane, electric forklift, turning lathe, grinding machine and pneumatic tools. The work flow at factory floor became also familiar. My employer commended my accuracy in work, handcraft skills, brisk work attitude and initiative mindset.
