About Simon Langer

As the primary focus area within my Computer Science Studies (finished in March 2024 with distinction: grade 1.0/A+ at TU Munich), I've selected the one where (subjectively) there has been the most "action" in recent years: Artificial Intelligence, more specifically Machine Learning and Deep Learning (ML/DL).As of early 2020, I've been taking a deep dive (pun intended) into Deep Learning research - resulting in research output of 2 peer-reviewed papers published during my Master's.Both the creative (team!-)process of coming up with novel ideas, as well as the development and fundamental software engineering "legwork" (also encompassing security considerations and cloud applications) are equally enjoyable to me – the associated breadth of knowledge is reflected in my exceptionally good grades and scholarships.
