Started life after University working for a large telecoms operation, as a Learning & Development Consultant, later specialising as a Management Development Consultant. Moved on to work for a local regeneration charity where I coached those classed as 'NEET' into further education, volunteering or paid employment. Also spent 1 day a week running an I.T workshop. Then successfully completed a PGCE in Secondary Education, whilst working in contrasting school environments. Quickly realised that I wanted to specialise in an BEBD context, thus moved on to working within a local combined PRU/BESD school, teaching key stages 2 through to 5. After 3 years, I was offered an opportunity to learn valuable new skills working as an 'E-Learning Project Manager'. I developed several programmes using an e-learning platform. My completed work enabled the local authority to upskill their employees in a far more flexible and accurate manner, meaning they could meet the needs of the business in a timely manner = costs ↓ customer satisfaction ↑ Following successful completion of my project, I moved back into the school environment, but this time in a primary context and out of the classroom, as a Behaviour Support Worker.
