Employment history in the I.T. Industry. Firstly at Bramshill Police Staff College in their computer department, employed by the Home Office, supporting staff and students on various platforms at the time.I then joined Superscape, who created VR authoring tools, with which users created virtual environments on their PC's. As part of the support team. Often visiting customers sites for updates of software and to support the customer's virtual environments.After Superscape I joined EDS, supporting an MOD site for a Wintel role, for various projects in defence. EDS were bought by HP and until 2005 I was an "ITO Service Delivery Consultant", providing I.T. support to the MOD. In 2006 HP split into HPE and HP Inc, and until 2017 I was employed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. My last role was as an 'Environment Manager',for server rooms, as well as providing desktop and server support, as well as site support visits.After redundancy I joined Adepet Telecom for 6 months as a Helpdesk Engineer, providing remote telecoms support to clients including major private hospitals in London, via telecom management tools. Other responsibilities included processing orders for clients on the digital telephone network, such as new extentions, voiceail etc.I spent 2 1-2 years working as a sub-contractor for Computacenter (via Hays recruitment), with their Customers - GE, Baker Hughes, Gaffney Cline, and Cytiva, as a Senior Customer Engineer - providing 2nd Line I.T. support for their staff.I have recently started a new full-time role with Apogee (an HP company) as a 2nd Line Support Engineer for their customers. Working from their new office in Basingstoke.In my 'spare time' I am a bass player, for a covers band. I also play bass for my Church Worship team. I enjoy films, Formula1, Rugby Union and Golf. I am married to Corinne and we have two cats that act like children.
