My role at Schramm Group is to be the client’s conduit from planning through to implementation. I provide my expertise to assist with developing best practice temporary traffic management at pre-planning stage of work to ensure their workflow is maximised with the least impact to traffic. As a qualified Traffic Management Designer, I then develop Traffic Guidance Schemes and provide support to field staff during implementation.

My role at RoadTek was to provide a review of how the business designs, implements and manages traffic management activities. The review provided a snapshot of the internal maturity of the business and provided recommendations on how the business could improve. My experience over the last 15 years in traffic management provided the subject matter expertise RoadTek needed. I was able to influence and guide the Operational Leadership Team in solutions to ensure RoadTek was not only compliant but leading the way in the traffic management industry. The final output of my role was a technical report with data collected from across TMR and personal fact finding. This report has been endorsed and recommendations are being put into action plans.

Responsibilities and skills: My role as Permits and Planning Coordinator has been to manage and direct the team of planners and administration staff in all aspects of their daily workflow. My skill set also provide clients with guidance relating to legislative requirements regarding worksite compliance. Tracking KPIs and developing digital workflow systems to both streamline the planning and permit process, and allow better forecasting of resources has been a ongoing project.

The company has had exception growth over the last twelve months securing numerous long term civil contracts. Responsibilities and skills: My role as OHS Manager has been to audit and rollout a comprehensive Safety and Quality System. I have also been involved with the day to day scheduling of staff, and organising permits and plans for the clients and crews. Client site visits to ensure that plans are accurate and traffic management is effective and the worksite is safe.

The company has 60 vehicles, specialised equipment for line marking and generally employs 130 staff.Responsibilities and skills: Management of Rockhampton office includes 50 staff , 20 vehicles and line marking equipment. Highly developed communication skills to achieve goals of multiple projects by effectively managing office staff and Linemark staff at various locations. Demonstrated effective project management skills and use of critical analytical skills to interpret complex information has provided appropriate solutions for a wide range of clients. Provide clients expert advice and maintain quality standards when tendering and estimating costs for projects. Effectively maintain high levels of quality, workplace health and safety through collaborative teamwork. The business has significantly increased through my effective communication of solutions and facilitating teamwork to achieve successful project outcomes for clients.
