I hold a B.Sc. within mechanical engineering specializing in plastics technology and have a solid background within the pharmaceutical industry.With approximately 11 years of construction experience both within mechanical components and drug delivery systems; I have spent the last 8 years working with biotech and pharmaceutical projects. I am a competent engineer with experience within production and construction of biotech and pharmaceutical facilities. I’ve been involved in several concepts for clients in Denmark and Europe including large scale biotech facilities mainly focusing on mechanical installations with good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements according to food and drug administration (FDA).During the last 6 years I have worked intensively with medical devices concentrating on insulin pens, with focus on labelling and packaging. Keywords for focus areas are technical test equipment and machines prior to large scale production. Further I have worked intensively with cartridge and vial packaging systems within commisioning and qualification.With my background in mechanical engineering - plast technology and my present job as project engineer, I bridge the gap between design and construction and production in a wide variety of areas within pharmaceutical mechanical engineering. Furthermore, my experience has brought me an ability to aligning engineering solutions with overall GMP goals.
