After ORCA Websites went into liquidation, I was promptly head hunted for the client services co-ordinator role. My main responsibility is being the primary contact to assigned clients, project managing the website design process, and post-live marketing. These roles require an excellent level of interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues and third party providers. Project managing within the website design process consists of many different elements: advising; negotiating; training; supporting; and liaising, all of which ensure that the website process meets deadlines, budgets and relevant specifications.Chapter Eight provide website and online e-commerce solutions to an abundance of clients such as: Coca Cola; The Sock Shop; Golf Oil; and Co-op Motor Group.

Working within the Operations Department at ORCA Websites consists of two different job roles: client support and project manager. My principal role was client support, as well as training and facilitating amendments to website designs. This requires excellent communication skills with colleagues as well as clients.My second role involved project managing websites through the website design and build process. This consisted of liaising with department members to discuss briefs, and examining the design and build departments before presenting it to the clients. This required a critical eye to website designs, as well as technical knowledge of functionality.
