I am a Yorkshire based senior manager, with over 24 years’ experience specialising in the ownership, management, commercial/sales and design of large data, customer location service solutions. My experience covers overseeing large change and business transformation programmes within the legal, collections and debt sale services industries, with deep knowledge in relation to effective/high performance processes & strategies across the end-to-end lifecycle, in particular specialising within the regulated lending sector. I am an accredited Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (MCICM), directly involved with working with clients, regulators and trade bodies in specific relation to my areas of expertise, having extensive experience in combining proven strategic innovations, with effective product design/project management and business analysis to deliver targeted business results. Since 2008, I have had the opportunity to work with highly talented people at Wescot Credit Services Limited. Wescot is a UK based debt collection agency. We work on behalf of a number of banking, utility, telecoms, and retail finance companies whose customers have fallen behind with their repayments. These companies pass accounts to Wescot to manage and we work with each individual customer to establish affordable and sustainable repayment arrangements for the debt. We are authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. We are a member of the Credit Services Association and are proud to be at the forefront in helping to shape best practice standards for the industry.On a personal note, I am a former rugby league player for Birkenshaw ARLFC, and current Secretary/Trustee & Director for East Bierley Community Sports Association. We're a group of volunteers who have decided that the playing fields and changing facilities at East Bierley, where our children and friends play, just weren't good enough. They were getting to the point of being too dangerous to use and the council couldn’t offer us support to improve them. There was still a huge need for sport to be accessible to our community so we decided to form an organisation which could raise the much needed funds to redevelop them ourselves. So this is us. A community charity who intends to make sure that sport is available for everyone in our local area.
