'Dagoba Photography' specialises in hotel, resort and holiday accommodation photography for tourism and hospitality publications and promotional media. Though when I'm not capturing four walls and a pool, as a photographer I try to break away from the architectural lines and turn my lens elsewhere, where I love to capture the one off shots. Sounds like a normal thing to do for a photographer. Well yes, but its an art to do it well, and practising it never ends. I try to create strong simple scenes that otherwise are ephemeral and disappear in a second, never to be repeated, i don't mean the ever changing sunsets i mean unique independent shots. I try to capture a curious entertaining narratives, and convey them creatively. In December 2014 I won an international street photography competition, selected by judges then voted for by the public, I went on to win the overall photograph of the year with a deserted scene "Signs of Human Influence (without Humans)".I studied in art, art history, architecture and design, then went on apply the skills of an artist exchanging a colour palette for a palette of sound studying music. Then worked in the design, communications and marketing industry for many years lead me to the path of what I do now. Photography has always been there surrounding all aspects of my training and working practise. Its at my core of production for creativity and sense of achievement.
