Accounting and Reporting lead for PE sponsored multi-brand carve out with global operations. Built out a team and processes, ERP implementation and other stand up activities whilst exiting extensive TSA . Complex tax structure and accounting considerations.

Led SEC reporting processes, internal reporting, as well as general accounting and payroll functions.

Leadership of core accounting functions including sales audit, inventory control and accounts payable. Responsibilities included accounting accuracy and timeliness, control environment, issue resolution, talent management as well as supporting budget and forecast processes.

Supported the Global Business Units (Product development and portfolio management) from an FP&A and broader finance perspective. Directly supported 3 of the executive team in decision making processes. Helped stand up central processes for standardized reporting, including product profitability using a central hierarchy, R&D cost identification, standardizing cost center coding and reporting. Agile and flexible in a PE owned environment, contributed to financial statement footnotes as well as MD&A, design of accounting policies and procedures, ESSBASE management as well as supported system design and implementation.

In total I was in public accounting with PwC for over 15 years, working in the Audit practice for both PwC UK and PwC US, primarily with public companies in Automotive, Manufacturing and Transport & Logistics industries as well as Retail. Highlights include:* Two years in PwC's SEC Services Group, part of the US National Quality Organization, assisting both US Domestic and Foreign Private issuer (FPI) clients and engagement teams in understanding and compling with SEC reporting requirements.* Three years based in Geneva, Switzerland working with major multinational companies in both audit and non-audit capacities. Coordinated multi location audits including shared services to support both group and local statutory requirements, and resolved issues for global subsidiaries outside of the US.* Various consulting projects including GAAP conversion (US GAAP, IFRS), Accounting Policy redesigns, overhaul of risk management processes and more.
