In addition to the duties of the Applications Engineer role, full responsibility for managing the applications department:-- Responsible for managing the workloads and operations for a team of 6 engineers.- Responsible for all people management including appraisals, performance management and disciplinary procedures.- Monitoring the progress of projects within the department and reporting this to the Design Manager.- Liaising with Project Managers to ensure engineers within the department have all required information on current projects.- Maintaining department morale and supporting department engineers on all aspects of their duties.- Creating and implementing training plans for all new and existing department engineers.- Standardising departmental forms and processes to help company achieve ISO9001 accreditation.- Participating in health and safety committee and decide on effective solutions.- Providing IT support to local office, resolving day-to day computer errors and initial set up of new engineer laptops.

- Producing accurate, comprehensive and clear descriptions of operations.- Creating BMS software from variety of available information including consultant specification, plant schematics, company quote, description of operations and panel wiring diagrams.- Design and engineer a fully comprehensive BMS supervisor to consultant’s requirements and comments.- Providing technical support to site based commissioning engineers.- Creating BMS supervisor graphics to consultant’s requirements and comments.- Compiling Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

- Design and draw graphics for BMS supervisors. - Development of BMS supervisor - Writing BMS software.
