I am working with customers ranging from schools to corporate businesses, providing IT support services. I have experience in Office 365, MS Office, MS Server including Active Directory.ADDCOM-IT has over eighteen years experience in a wide spectrum of IT services, having expertise in onsite and remote support, audio visual systems, CCTV, structured cabling, desktop and server support, networks and consultancy. Addcom are a great company to work for with an excellent team. At the moment I am not currently looking for a new position.

Farnborough

Working in a fast paced and results driven company as a member of a busy Infrastructure Team, my responsibilities have included, the management and administration of both physical and virtual servers supporting the company’s core systems, providing third and second-line support for the service desk, project work for the implementation of new services into the business, such as software upgrades for desktop and server infrastructure alike. Evaluation of new services and pricing. Purchasing of goods and services.I worked in multidisciplinary teams to deliver key company projects with experience of managing and overseeing the work of external consultants. Rolling out Microsoft Office 365 to teams across the business. Introduced McAfee ePO and VirusScan Enterprise to the business, created protection policies for servers and desktops and taking day to day responsibility of the AV solution. Data backup was of critical importance to the business and I was responsible for its smooth running and day to day care.

Staying with CIM I joined the MIS department building NT 4 Servers and rolling out NT 4 Workstation, Windows 95 desktop clients and laptops. I recommended purchases of hardware and software and kept track of software licensing. I created and ran a backup regime with Arcserve.

I managed the daily running of the DTP team; organised the workload; maintained strict security; carried out staff appraisals and provided training on DTP and graphic software. The PC Support role evolved into the PC Support Analyst position and I wanted to concentrate on the support side and so I joined the MIS department.

I supplied operating and maintenance manuals, documents and brochures to a many and varied clientèle.

Stratfield Saye

I started at Benham Environmental Engineering Ltd. working on large mechanical engineering projects. I was responsible for purchasing materials making sure that goods arrived in the correct order and time to enable the project to progress. This meant that I built excellent relationships with multiple suppliers and manufacturers. I progressed to running my own contracts for the company, culminating with the completion of Coral Reef Leisure Pool in Bracknell.Having found that I had a keen interest in computing, I moved to join the desktop publishing team. My role was to produce tender proposals and brochures and operating and maintenance manuals for the company.An opportunity became available to concentrate solely on the computer systems side of the business. I was involved in maintaining and backing up a small Unix system running 16 terminals. I supported standalone PCs running Windows operating systems that were used in finance, CAD and secretarial roles.

Reading

I started at HS Marsh as a heating and ventilating apprentice. I went to Reading Collage of Technology and trained as a pipe fitter and welder. The apprenticeship was for four years, three training and the last year working solely on instillation and maintenance of services.After I had completed the training and qualified, I decided to change direction and secured a position in the office as a junior engineer. I assisted a senior engineer running contracts on a day to day basis. I attended site meetings with the client and organised the procurement of materials. The position progressed to include estimating contracts that had been put out to tender.
